Best Products to Source From China in 2026

Most "best products to import" lists are guesses dressed as advice. This one starts from what is actually in the catalogue, because a product idea is worthless if there is no depth of supply behind it — one listing at one price is a gamble, while two thousand competing listings is a market.

Here is how the Markaz China catalogue is distributed right now, and how to use that distribution to choose.

Where the catalogue is actually deep

The catalogue currently holds roughly 177,000 products across 38 categories. The depth is heavily concentrated:

  • Clothing accessories — about 50,000 products, by far the deepest category
  • Women's clothing — about 25,000
  • Luggage and leather goods — about 20,000
  • Shoes — about 18,000
  • Children's clothing — about 17,000
  • Menswear — about 16,000
  • Digital and computer — about 7,700
  • Beauty — about 4,600
  • Toys, household appliances, sports and outdoor — 1,400 to 1,800 each

You can walk the whole tree at China categories, where each category shows its live product count and breaks into subcategories.

The lesson from that shape is straightforward: fashion, accessories and everyday household goods are where China sourcing is strongest for Pakistan. If your first product sits in a category with tens of thousands of options, you have room to find a better price, a better variant, or a supplier with a photo set worth using. If it sits in a category with a few hundred, you are betting on one listing.

The four tests before you commit

Depth tells you where to look. These four questions tell you whether a specific product is worth selling.

1. Does it survive the wait?

China orders arrive door-to-door in about 10 to 17 days. A product a customer wants rather than urgently needs survives that; a product tied to a date does not. Sell the necklace, not the wedding shoes needed on Friday.

2. Does the margin justify the patience?

A product that saves your customer fifty rupees is not worth a two-week wait to them, and the margin will not be worth the messaging effort to you. Look for items where the factory-direct price is meaningfully below what is available locally.

3. Is it hard to buy locally?

Your entire advantage is offering something the shop down the road does not have. A product freely available in every local market puts you in a price war you cannot win.

4. Is it forgiving on size and fit?

Returns hurt more when the parcel has travelled from China. Accessories, bags, gadgets and home items are forgiving; fitted clothing and footwear are not, unless you are prepared to guide sizing carefully.

Categories worth a first order

Clothing accessories — the deepest part of the catalogue and the most forgiving on sizing. Scarves, hair accessories, belts, small jewellery. Light, cheap to ship, easy to photograph well.

Bags and small leather goods — 20,000 products deep, universally wanted, no sizing problem, and the visual difference between a factory-direct bag and a local-market bag is obvious in a photograph.

Phone and computer accessories — the digital category runs to nearly 8,000 products. Cables, stands, cases and chargers are compact, rarely returned and constantly replaced.

Home and kitchen gadgets — household appliances and storage products are where the "I didn't know this existed" reaction lives, and that reaction is what makes social selling work.

Beauty — deep at 4,600 products, but the most caution is warranted here: anything applied to skin deserves a sample order to yourself before you sell it to anyone else.

How to research a product properly

Browsing a category is one way in. A faster one is to work backwards from something you have already seen selling — a product in a TikTok video, a competitor's post, an item in a shop window. Photograph it or screenshot it and use image search on Markaz China to find the same or similar product at source. Our guide to finding winning products with image search covers that method in detail; it costs nothing and is far more reliable than guessing.

Order one before you sell any

Whatever you choose, order a single unit to your own address first. There is no minimum order, so a test costs the price of one product. You will see the real quality, the real packaging and the real timeline — and you will be able to describe the item honestly, which is the difference between a listing that converts and one that gets ignored.

Once you have a product worth selling, price it properly and list it with the delivery window stated plainly. Start browsing at Markaz China.
