Sell Markaz products on your Shopify store

Download a Shopify-ready CSV of the products you choose, at the prices you set. Shopify's own importer does the rest — images, variants and descriptions arrive with it. No app to install, no monthly fee, nothing to sync.

  • A real Shopify CSV — Products → Import and you're done
  • Products arrive as drafts, so nothing goes live unreviewed
  • Your prices, and your own brand in the Vendor field
  • Markaz delivers across Pakistan, prepaid or cash on delivery

From Markaz to your Shopify store

Four steps. Choosing the products is the longest part.

  1. 1

Favourite what you want to sell

Tap the heart on any Markaz product, Pakistan or China. Your favourites are the catalogue the export tool reads from.

  2. 2

    Set your prices

Apply one margin across everything, or price products individually. You always see the full breakdown — Markaz price, delivery, COD fee, and your profit on each sale.

  3. 3

    Download the Shopify CSV

One file shaped for Shopify's importer: product type and tags filled from Markaz categories, variants on their own rows, images attached.

  4. 4

    Products → Import

Upload it in your Shopify admin and tick “Overwrite products with matching handles”. Everything lands as drafts for you to review and publish.

What Shopify does with the file

Each product carries a handle built from its name and Markaz ID, and that handle is how Shopify recognises it. Import a fresh export later and Shopify updates those same products in place rather than creating duplicates — your published and unpublished choices survive while prices and stock refresh. Product type and tags arrive pre-filled from Markaz categories so collections and filters work immediately; for Shopify's own product-category field, accept the suggestion it offers from the title.

Set your Shopify store up like this

Store currency: PKR

Export files carry plain rupee numbers, so a PKR 1,500 product would list as $1,500 in a USD store.

Payments: prepaid or COD

Both work. You place every Markaz order manually, so match your Shopify checkout to how you intend to place it.

Flat-rate shipping

Most COD products carry PKR 165 delivery plus a PKR 50 cash-handling fee. Set a flat rate to match, or build it into your prices. Never weight-based — exported products carry no weight.

China products stay prepaid

China-sourced items cannot be sold cash on delivery and take 10–17 days door-to-door. That note is already written into their descriptions.

The limits. Up to 50 products per export and 100 new products per day. Re-exporting products you have already exported is always free, so refreshing prices and stock costs you nothing. The tool is free for every Markaz reseller.

Shopify questions

Do I need to install a Shopify app?
No. This is a CSV you import through Shopify's built-in importer. Nothing is installed in your store and there is no monthly app fee.
Will re-importing create duplicate products?
Not if you tick “Overwrite products with matching handles”. Shopify matches on the handle in the file and updates those products in place.
Do my customers see that products come from Markaz?
No. Supplier names are deliberately excluded from the file, and the Vendor field is yours — type your brand name at the download step and it applies to every product.
Does stock sync automatically?
No. An export is a snapshot of that day's prices and stock. Re-export before campaigns and at least weekly — re-exports are free, so staying current costs only a few clicks.
Who delivers, and how do I get paid?
Markaz delivers anywhere in Pakistan. When your store sells, you place that order on Markaz using the SKU from the line item, and you keep the difference between your price and the Markaz price.
What if an image fails to import?
Tell the Markaz team. Every exported image is served through our own normalising proxy specifically so Shopify's media validator accepts it, and we investigate anything it still rejects.
