How the export works
You choose the products; the file is built to order.

Build your list with favourites
Favourite products on Markaz and they become your export catalogue. There is no separate list to maintain.

Price the products
Set one margin across the list or price rows individually. Delivery and COD charges are shown per product, so the file reflects real economics rather than a guess.

Choose your format
The two CSVs are shaped for Shopify's and WooCommerce's importers. The Excel file is the same data in a spreadsheet — for any other platform, or for your own analysis.

Load it into your store, or open it in Excel first to adjust titles, plan campaigns, or price against competitors before importing.
What is actually in the file
Product name and description, every image URL, each variant on its own row with its own price, your selling price, and a SKU shaped MKZ-{productId}-{variantId} that identifies the exact Markaz product and variant. Product type and tags are filled in from Markaz categories. Two things are deliberately absent — supplier names and internal identifiers — because your customers must never see where a product came from, and several store themes display those fields publicly. The Vendor column is left empty for your own brand name.
What the data assumes
Prices are in PKR
Plain rupee numbers, no currency symbol and no conversion. Your store should be set to PKR.
It is a snapshot, not a feed
The file reflects the day it was generated. Nothing syncs afterwards — re-export to refresh, which is free for products you have exported before.
No weights
Markaz does not expose product weights, so exported rows carry none. Use flat-rate shipping rather than weight-based rules.
China rows are marked
Products sourced from China carry an advance-payment note in the description, because they cannot be sold cash on delivery and take 10–17 days.
Data questions
- Is there an API or an automatic feed?
- Not today. The export is a file you generate and download when you want it — deliberately simple, with nothing to authenticate, host, or keep running.
- Can I edit the file before importing?
- Yes, and many resellers do — rewriting titles or descriptions in Excel is common. Keep the SKU column exactly as it is; that is how orders map back to Markaz products.
- Does the data include supplier information?
- No, by design. Supplier names are Markaz-internal, and several store themes display that field publicly, so it is excluded from every format.
- What happens to a product that goes out of stock?
- Out-of-stock products are left out of the file, and when you revisit the tool it reports what changed since your last export — price moves, stock-outs, and products no longer available.
- Can I use the data on a platform you do not support?
- Yes. Take the Excel export and map its columns to whatever your platform expects. The Shopify and WooCommerce formats are conveniences, not restrictions.
- Does exporting cost anything?
- No. The tool is free for every Markaz reseller; you earn the difference between your selling price and the Markaz price.
